This was one of three travel books on Myanmar I purchased after I got back from a trip there. All three had loads of useful information but if you are older than 40 and don't have 20/20 vision any more you will need to wear three pairs of glasses to read the very fine print. I have hardly looked at any of them due to the difficulty of reading them. It sure takes the fun out of learning.

Lots of color pictures but pretty slim on content. I bought this because it was much more recent than the Lonely Planet guide to Myanmar, but this book just concentrates on the big tourist sites. No real usable information on getting around or stuff like that. Everything in this book and more could be found for free on the internet. Save your money!

*photos are too old* not as detail. i noticed all books about asian countries are not as details as those from european countries

This book started out great but went downhill rather quickly. Walkyr's mate is his long lost COUSIN... so gross!!! In choosing Riley Vox is told of an Aunt Mia who went missing at birth... we learn in this book that the king and queen of the forest used a surrogate which we are led to believe is Vox's grandmother... no matter what they'd be related since the 4 kingdoms are ruled by Vox's uncles and then aunt.. unless I misunderstood something... I think S.E Smith forgot about the detail from the other book... the ending was a bust... and what happened to the 9 lives the Sarafins were supposed to have? I know I read it in one of the other books that they have their cats and 9 lives.... this book wasn't as thrilling as her other stories...it also lacked the humor and love that the other stories had... this book was so bland.. I feel like Ms Smith is running out of steam and is just throwing stuff out there and leaving loose ends.... I'm very disappointed..It feels like a completely different author wrote this one!... it really didn't make much sense. I'm hoping she gets back on the ball because I've loved most of her other books I'd hate to drop her off my reading list.

Not anywhere near as good as books one and two of this series! The story was confusing,There is no humor, there is no romance, except a very little sex at the very end. I was veryDisappointed in this book. It was as if Miss Smith spent no energy on thinking this story upOr plotting it out.

I am very discouraged by authors that load old books for sale as new ones. I was very unhappy that as I started reading that this was a book I had already read and purchased not so long ago. It's a sign the author is running out of ideas and/or just trying to get extra money. Shame on you!

I love the characters and how their lives cross with each other. I read everything this author writes and have never been disappointed yet. I eagerly await every items she releases as I know I can settle in for a good read. Forget work, laundry and cooking, You don't need to bother with that when you can fly away with one of her books on a new adventure. Can hardly wait for the next release as it is.L

I was looking forward to a new story but realized I had already read this story. Maybe in an anthology?

When I'm in the market for a new book to read I always check to see if MS . Smith has any new releases . I have every book she has written to date .The world's she builds along with the people who inhabit them are like good friends that you know very well and can count on .. The one thing you can always count on is the belly rolling humor one finds in a S. E. Smith book . I laugh so hard when I read one of MS. Smith's book I get tears in my eyes . That has always been the case UNTIL this book . Sadly the humor was missing in this story . I have waited for a long time for MS. Smith to add another story to the Sarafins , Curizans and , and those Sexy Dragons , Lords of Valdier only to be so disappointed by this title . I guess I'll wait until the next book and hope MS. Smith finds that sense of humor her fans love so much .

I’m so happy to be back with Sarafin warriors! On Earth, on a mission to save the ‘Heart of the Cat,’ Walkyr encounters Trescina and her tiger companions. They each are hiding an important aspect of themselves; both have enemies after them. What an adventure this turns out to be! The backstory of the situation is fascinating, including stories of Trescina’s youth on Earth. I’m looking forward to seeing more of these Sarafins soon (I hope)!

I really don't know how to rate this book, love the first two in the series, but this last one had me turning the pages rather quickly, The story went from the past to the present , then past , then present , really was confusing at times ,yeah not my favorite
